42mm Wetpour-Tile™ Safety Surface ( 4 X Tile Design )
Each 42mm x 1mx1m Wetpour-Tile™ safety surface weighs 30kg. Wetpour-Tile™ protects children in the event of a fall when playing in the playground or school yard. The rubber Wetpour-Tile™ playground surface provides a hardwearing, durable safety surface in schoolyards, creche and local authority playgrounds. Each large 42mm Wetpour-Tile™ creates the impression of 4 smaller square tiles - The system has the advantage of far fewer joints than virtually any other playground tile system. The tiles are very fast to install and are a lot more forgiving of the base than smaller tiles.
Each 42mm x 1mx1m Wetpour-Tile™ provides a 1.45m critical fall height (Safety Rating) when placed on a hard base such as stone, tarmac concrete or paving. The critical fall height is the height that has been determined that a child could fall from without sustaining a critical injury, when landing on a particular safety surface.
Wetpour Tiles are made from high quality EPDM rubber. Wetpour Tiles bridge the gap between traditional wetpour which is mixed and poured on site and factory made playground tiles. (Traditional wetpour is expensive, labour intensive and cannot be laid in wet or cold conditions). Wetpour Tiles can be laid in wet and cold conditions. They are precision factory made, both temperature and pressure are carefully controlled during the curing process.This guarantees a consistant, high quality safety surface every time. We produce a range of wetpour designs and colours that combine with and integrate into the Wetpour-Tile™ safety surface system
Each 42mm Wetpour-Tile ™ is large in size: 1mx1m. They are heavy, each Wetpour-Tile™ weighs 30kg each. They are designed for commercial and public playgrounds. The 42mm Wetpour-Tile™ has a very high safety rating.
We also manufacture Wetpour-Tile™ to other depths. Wetpour-Tile™ playground tiles are available in 60mm, 84mm and 100mm for higher critical fall heights. We can also offer coloured wetpour designs that integrate into the Wetpour-Tile system.

Wetpour Designs
For relatively little extra cost a playground can be given a visual lift with one or two multi-coloured wetpour designs incorpoated into it.
The Hopscotch Set as shown in photo above right is one of our most popular multi-coloured Wetpour-Tile™ designs. TheHopscotch set is made as 4 individual 1mx1m Wetpour-Tiles ( 4m x 1 m ) that can be incorporated into the Wetpour Playground Tile system. The Hopscotch Set not only adds a colourful dimension to a large safety surface, it is an unobstructive game / activity in it's own right. Creating the wetpour designs in the factory is a very cost effective way of producing colourful designsresulting in lower costs than traditional "mix on site" Wetpour. Wetpour-Tile™ guarantees a consistently high quality, durable safety surface every time.
The Sun Design as shown in photo to the rightwas a bespoke design. We designed and made it at the request of our client The Sunshine Creche, based in the town of Kells, Co. Meath in the Republic of Ireland. The Sun Design is the logo of the Creche and symbolises the bright future that awaits every child. The design measures 2m x 2m and is made up of 4 EPDM Wetpour Playground Tiles.
