Timber decking must be looked after each year with the correct treatment chemicals.  These treatment chemicals are expensive.  Sanding and treating a timber deck is time consuming.  The larger the timber deck the more time it will take to look after – either you pay a professional to take care of your timber deck annually or you use valuable leisure time to do so.
