This ocean front complex contains 24 apartments most with their own private balcony decks.  All balconies face the Atlantic Ocean.  The 3 most important factors governing the choice of which decking material to use were low maintenance, durability and slip resistance.
Deck25 was chosen because it is a high quality low maintenance material that is solid throughout its depth.  It has excellent resistance to severe weather conditions and salt water.  It also has excellent anti-slip properties.

The GAA Football and Social Club is at the heart of this rural loughside community.

This semi-roofed beer garden and smoking shelter was constructed to the front of the social club to serve several functions:

·         To cater for the clients who wish to smoke (Smoking Ban Legislation)

·         Increase floor area of the licensed premises for local events eg Big Lough Sunday

·         As Maghery Social Club sits less than 100m from the Blackwater River, at the South Eastern mouth of Lough Neagh (the largest fresh water lake in Western Europe) it will be an important stopping off point for pleasure boats, once the Ulster Canal reopens, joining Lough Neagh with the Erne / Shannon Waterway.

This unique self build, passive house project was designed to maximise the value of its lakeside location. This property was featured recently on Irish television (RTE) hosted by Duncan Stewart.  The programme was dedicated to new eco friendly, carbon neutral building technologies.

The wall panels of this passive house were manufactured in Austria and arrived fully glazed and insulated.  The house is heated by a geo thermal heating system.  The heat pipes rest on the bottom of the half acre lake.  The solar tubing system adds additional hot water to the heating system.
